Finished

I have finished the photography program! The graduation ceremony was Friday June 19th. My sister and nephews came out to MA for the occasion. I am glad to be home, but already miss the new friends I made.

The Waiting Game

Portfolios were turned in on May 20 at 5pm. I lined up two hours early to have a place in line. So far, ten of my classmates have gone to re-review (about 40%). This was very emotional watching the panelist judge each students work.
I have produced the best portfolio I can at this time in my life. I know that my work will continue to improve and if I have to go for the re-review I will be in good company!
I will be taking a few classes this week as well as attending some review sessions. Trying to get my website started and finished in the next couple of week.

Final Portfolio

We now have nine days remaining before our portfolios are due (may 20 @ 5pm). My trip home was a great help for me completing my assignments.
Thanks to all of my family and friends who allowed me to photograph them.

Working Away on Phase 4

Currently I am working on Phase 4 commercial shooting. Here is a glassware shot that I did a couple of days ago. This is a vintage pop bottle from the Kenton Bottling Works.
I am looking forward to coming home in a few weeks. I will be asking for models so I can complete my final portfolio while at home. If there is anyone wanting pictures, let me know.

Brenda

Images of Brenda (my niece). She was gracious enough to help out her aunt! We went to the farm and took these pictures. It was great to get to see her and she helped me with my assignment. Thanks Brenda.

Biskit the dog

How do you get a dog to stand still? Ask him if he wants to visit grandma.

This is Tina's dog Biskit. He came to the studio and asked if I would take his portrait, but he had no money. I agreed, but only because he was family.
